Eggs in the Nest
The female usually lays a clutch of two eggs, though she can lay as many as four. Eagle eggs are ready to hatch after around 35 days of incubation. Bald eagle eggs are white. Sometimes there are some pale brown splotches, but not usually. They are shaped like most eggs, and weigh around 110-130 grams. They range from 6-8 centimeters long and are about 5-6 centimeters wide. |
