Feeding on Fish

What is the average amount of fish an eagle can eat in a day? They eat 5-10% of their body weight. Diet varies with season and with what is available — eagles are very opportunistic in their feeding habits — but fish is the number one food followed by some waterfowl, occasional turtles, and sometimes rarer finds. Average daily food consumption is from 250-550 grams per day.
