Feel the Skin
What does a baby gray whale's skin feel like? Chelsea can tell you! The skin feels like smooth, slippery, wet rubber. Chelsea was five years old on her first visit to the nursery lagoons. She returns often with her grandfather. She is leaning over the boat to touch a baby gray whale in Laguna Ojo de Liebre, Mexico. The friendly baby whales seem to love being touched by eager visitors who come to see them.
