Obstacle Course!
Gray whales travel the same waters as large freighters, cruise ships, and oil barges. They share the waters with speedboaters, piers, oil platforms, pollution, fishing nets and lobster pots—and even surfers and paddlers! The more aware people are that whales are present, the better chance the whales have for safe travel through the sometimes-crowded waters of their migration.
