Lanny Chambers' interest in hummingbirds began over 20 years ago on a backpacking trip in Colorado, where dozens of birds were visiting home-made feeders on the campgrounds. His curiosity became a lifelong quest for knowledge. Lanny became a certified bander in Fenton, Missouri. Every year, Lanny collects reports of ruby-throated hummingbirds from all over America. He generously shares his data and expertise with Journey North.
