  • Hummingbird expert, Bob Sargent confirmed that the bird was a Ruby-throated hummer.

  • Migrating Ruby-throated hummingbirds usually return to Massachusetts during the last week in April.

  • Hummingbird feeding has become more popular during the last 10 to 15 years.

  • More people are leaving hummingbird feeders up into the late fall or winter.
