Back Start Next Winter Hummingbirds: A Report from Costa Rica Here at our farm in Costa Rica we 'host' 9 species of hummingbirds throughout the year. The ruby throats generally arrive at the end of October and stay until the beginning of March. We have lots of flowers growing at our farm. The hummingbirds drink the nectar from flowers in bloom.
