Fighting at Feeders
Tiny hummingbirds are instinctively aggressive. When blossoms are scarce, they can't afford to share nectar sources. They may have to fly far to find food.
Why do they fight at feeders? They don't realize that nectar feeders don't need to be defended — because people keep filling them! |
