Violet-crowned Hummingbird (Amazilia violiceps) This hummingbird is best distinguished by its violet-colored cap. The back and tail is a dark olive green, and their underparts are mostly white. The bill is red with a black tip. Females are less colorful. A medium-sized hummingbird, 10 cm (4") long.
