Summer/Fall 2001 Recap |
Grace spent much of the warm season feeding on the seagrass beds off Cape Romano
and resting in the canals of Marco Island. She did return to Port of the Islands
for brief visits during the months of August through December. In mid-December she
began using the grass beds near the outer islands of Port of the Islands (rather
than the Cape Romano area) and on cold days moved into Port of the Islands canals.
She continued to use this area through most of January but just recently has moved
back to the Cape Romano area. |
