Entering the Chincua colony you could see butterflies on the ground and had to be careful not to step on them. Even though it may seem like there are a lot of butterflies on the ground, there really weren’t that many. According to my grandfather, Professor Lincoln Brower, the number of dead and moribund, butterflies was about average. The word moribund means in a dying state, or about to die. I too learned the meaning of this word on my trip.
