Monarchs
Drinking Water Outside the Butterfly Reserve
This picture is interesting because of its location. Thousands of monarchs
were puddling here several miles from the Cerro Pelon Sanctuary. The
owner had placed her water hose at the higher end of her donkey pasture
to water the grass growing there. The tiny pasture was in front of a
modest family home and about 2000' lower than the cluster site.
