Noemi's family lives the traditional mountain lifestyle of Michoacan. Their home is beside the Sierra Chincua monarch sanctuary. They grow their food, raise animals, and gather wood from the surrounding forest.

Wood is an important resource for the family. We asked Señor de Jesus to show us ways the family uses wood in their daily lives.
