Discovery—Scientists Find the Monarch's Clock!
In 2009, scientists made an unexpected finding. The clock the monarchs use to orient is located in the antennae! Scientists had assumed the special clock would be in the brain. They made their discovery after dipping the monarch's antennae in black paint.
