Ornithologist Laura Erickson is the Science Editor at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and author of eight books about birds, including the National Geographic Pocket Guide to Birds of North America. In 2014 Laura received the American Birding Association's highest honor: the Roger Tory Peterson Award.
