Robin Feeding Frenzy

    It looks like the robin has at least two worms in its beak. Did you also notice something that looks like antennae or legs? Do you think they belong to a worm?

  • Worms don't have legs or antennae, so the other creature must be must be a grub (larvae) of some kind of insect.

  • Because he has hungry babies back in the nest, he picks up a beakful of food each trip. That way, he saves energy and can spend more time hunting and less time traveling back and forth.
