It
looks like the robin has at least two worms in its beak. Did
you also notice something that looks like antennae or legs?
Do you think they belong to a worm?

Worms
don't have legs or antennae, so the other creature must be must
be a grub (larvae) of some kind of insect.

Because
he has hungry babies back in the nest, he picks up a beakful
of food each trip. That way, he saves energy and can spend more
time hunting and less time traveling back and forth.
