- This robin
and its brothers and sisters knew by instinct that it was time
to go out and learn a few things.
- The branches
and soft grass protected them when they jumped.
- Before
they can learn to fly, robins need to learn to walk and hop. They need
to see what's around them and learn about dangers. What did you
need to learn as a baby?
- Don't
worry. Mom and dad still have their eye on the kids as they take these
first steps!
But keep your cat indoors! Before these fledglings can fly, cats can easily kill them!
