All Eyes on a Robin There is so much to see here: brown leaves and black bits, holes in the snow, shadows, a white ring around the robin's eye. What else did you notice? We guessed it was winter, but then wondered if there had been a spring snowstorm. It looks bright and we see shadows; we think it was a sunny day. We think this robin has been scratching in the snow to find food. We wondered what food it could find in the snow. Here's what we learned: old fallen berries and other fruits!
