Post September 11 Security Precautions Due to security issues concerning anthrax contamination of mail, we highly recommend that you ship your butterflies via UPS this fall. Last fall, many packages of butterflies were quarantined by the U.S. Postal Service. They were not received until December even though postmarked in October. What s more, had last fall's anthrax events occurred just a few weeks earlier, we may not have been able to accept delivery of thousands of packages, due to safety concerns. The added security of UPS shipment will ensure the safest delivery of your butterflies, and will help us run the project smoothly and efficiently. Unfortunately, we must reserve the right to refuse delivery of packages sent by mail.
