Celebrate and Document
Showcase what you have learned
The end of the year is a perfect time to bring together and organize what you've discovered— from the first garden-planning activity in the fall to the final observations in the spring.

Essential Question
How can we celebrate and summarize our test garden project discoveries and experiences?

Make a Test Garden Portfolio
A portfolio is one way to showcase your year's discoveries and experiences in the test garden. Review your journal pages for interesting details. Revisit weekly updates and maps. Consider including the following:

  • Predictions
  • Important dates: planting, emerge, and bloom
  • Maps
  • Garden location information and map
  • Information from garden partners
  • Photographs
  • Garden data: graphs, weather information, measurements
  • Drawings
