Experimenting with Planting Depth
Gotsch Intermediate School

Third grade students at Gotsch Intermediate school in St. Louis, Missouri planted a Journey North Test garden on October 19, 2011. They wondered how bulb planting depth might affect the way the bulbs grew. Their experiment was born. In addition to their test garden bulbs, planted 7" deep, they planted two experimental gardens.
