Keeping Out Predators
Lots of animals will eat tulips. Squirrels especially like your newly planted bulbs. Deer will eat the plants when they emerge. One way to protect your Test garden is to secure chicken wire over and around newly planted areas when you know that predators are in your area. Here's another way that was devised by Girl Scouts in Anchorage.
