Protecting from Squirrels
Tulip bulbs are delicious eating for almost all critters. Squirrels are especially attracted to the freshly planted tulip garden. They find it is easy to dig the bulbs to eat them, or just dig them up to plant their acorns or nuts for winter storage.

"We learned that squirrels like to eat bulbs so we put a big net over the garden so the squirrels couldn't dig them up and eat them. " 11/06/14
