March 13, 2012: Today we spotted our sixth and seventh tulip sprouts! In preparation for Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Day on April 21st, a local high school student volunteered his time to to tend our tulip bed. He wore rubber gloves to carefully remove dead leaves, sticks, stones, weeds, cigarette butts, and broken glass. Thanks Robert! - Lansdowne Public Library garden; Lansdowne, Pennsylvania
