  • April 21: Pella, Iowa
    "Our Tulip Test garden survived the torrential rains and heavy winds our area," reported homeschoolers.

  • April 18: Alpine, Utah
    Almost all of the flowers have bloomed. They are about 13 inches tall. Despite the cold weather, they continue to grow. They are beautiful.
  • April 22: Holliston, Massachusetts
    We returned from spring vacation to find our tulips had shot up to 30 to 33 cm tall and were in full bloom! All 200-plus second graders planted a bulb in the garden last fall.

  • April 22: Cambridge, Massachusetts
    "Returning back from spring break we found our tulips in bloom - they are truly beautiful and spring has finally arrived after a very long winter!"

  • April 18: Burr Ridge, Illinois
    It rained a lot- in 3 days ulips were up 5"!

  • April 15: Evanston, Wyoming
    We seem to be moving pretty slow this year. We have had a cold spring so far. Our tulips are just emerging - and deer have once again munched on them.

  • April 21: Pella, Iowa
    To celebrate a warm spring day when the tulips were blooming we brought supplies outside and made paintings of our tulips!
