Third graders from Chemnitz check in with their emerging garden report on March 27:
"This year, winter lasts longer than usual. It was much colder and we still have snowfalls from time to time. Minimum temperatures are still below 0°C. However, last week we discovered that some tulips had already emerged under the snow layer! Their length was about 3 to 5 cm. Best wishes from Chemnitz."
