Blooming This Week!
Planting multiple gardens in one schoolyard can bring interesting microclimate investigations. One class garden emerged on February 18th and bloomed on March 11. Two other gardens planted on February 16th and 20th are yet to bloom. What factors might cause the gardens to bloom at different times?

"We were excited to see that 22 tulips had bloomed! All the tulips were leaning toward the sun. The red petals felt silky. The tallest tulip was 30 cm and the shortest one was 16 cm. The widest bloom was 15 cm and the widest leaf was 14 cm. Wow!"
