The Calabasas High School Environmental Biology students are studying how human activities are impacting the environment. Global climate change is of particular importance, because California has been in the midst of a historic drought. The tulip Test garden study has provided them with a way to study the climate changes they are experiencing in California with those in other parts of the country.
"Our first tulips have bloomed. The flowers in complete sunlight were the first to come up. Some of the other bulbs are partially shaded, and are up but not yet blooming." Calabasas, California 03/13/2014
