Students at Belle Sherman Elementary were disappointed when the deer munched on their emerging tulips. Although the plants showed damaged leaves, they discovered that blooms will prevail!
"Even though the deer have been nibbling on the leaves, our tulips have flowers that are almost ready to open," students reported from Ithaca, New York.
