Partner Gardens
One garden is in a rural area and its partner is in the city. Because urban areas have altered land surfaces like parking lots, pavement, and roofs, they trap and hold heat. This is called the urban heat island effect. This garden, planted in the rural setting, emerged later than the city garden:
