Snow Geese on Nebraska's Platte River

I was equally impressed with the large number of Snow Geese that were in the area. Their populations have exploded, thanks to all the corn out there (the same reason there are so many cranes). While it is very impressive, it is also causing problems. There are so many geese that they are out-competing the cranes for the corn, so the cranes are not able to fatten as well for the next leg of their long migration to the north of Canada.
