Black-headed Grossbeak
The East has Rose-breasted Grossbeaks and the West has Black-headed Grossbeaks. Both are neotropical migrants. This seed-eating bird has a heavy bill that makes easy work of shucking sunflower seeds. The Black-headed Grossbeak is common throughout the entire West.
