Golden-winged warbler
All along the Gulf coast, birders reported good numbers of new arrivals, including the first Golden-winged Warblers. A bird that is classified as near-threatened, this warbler is sometimes said to resemble a chickadee because of its black bib and white underside, with added gold on the wings and cap.
