Yellow-throated warbler
It's easy to see why birding pioneer Roger Tory Peterson described these tiny, active birds and other woodland warblers as the "spritely butterflies of the bird world." In the last week, with southerly winds to help migrants fly to the southeast U.S., the first Yellow-throated Warblers arrived along the Georgia coast.
