ELWOOD EAGLE EXPERTS--CREATIVE WRITINGS

FOURTH GRADE Wayco Oaklund The eagles are so creative. Their wings are so long. Eagles are like the native. When they fly, I would like to go along. I saw an eagle catch a pike. Their valleys are full of light. They like to eat carp. With their beaks so sharp they might get into a fight.

Nikole Moore See the eagle high in the sky. See the eagle fly so high. The eagle is King of the sky. How high can the King of the sky fly? Never is he scared or sly. Always he is strong and sly! Forever he will be King of the sky.

Julia Edelan Their head is white. Their eyes are small and bright. Their beak is sharp. Their body is big and beautiful. They look small when they are up high in the sky. Their feathers are different colors and the tip of their wings are white and black. Their beak may have yellow or black on it. Their claws are very long and sharp. They have big feet. The eagles are beautiful.

Megan Baldonado The eagle went down to catch a fish. The fish jumped out of the water then the eagle got him. The eagle has white around his neck. The eagle is on a skinny branch. It is a tall tree with a nest is above it. The wings are very long and it has lots of feathers on its wings.

Amber Smith I wonder if an eagle can fly upon the moon. To sore against the wind. Who knows if an eagle's feathers blow off when the wind hits them. An eagle may swoop down and crash, for the wind would make him.

Josh Pickinpaugh I would like to see how an eagle feels. I like their feathers. I wonder how they like to fly. I would like to know how an eagle feels in a cage. I would like to see an eagle. I think eagles are cool.

Tiffani Muir I wonder if the eagles ever get bored catching fish. If they do they should go for a fly out in the blue sky. Up in the sky with the air so fresh. It should be every eagle's wish.

Morgan Baldonado The eagles are tall and bald. Their white feathers are as white as snow. Their chirp is loud and clear. I love to see them fly down to catch fish. If they miss, they try and try again. Then they fly up to their nests.

Brock Clouse When I saw the eagles, they sat in a tree waiting for the fish to to float on the top of the water so they could catch the fish. They swooped down and their big wings floated like a butterfly. Their giant claws clamp on like a staple into a piece of wood. The eagles I saw are tall and bald. Their feathers are the weather.

Justin Bullis All the eagles are calling. The eagles watch for fish. They are even chasing ducks. The eagles sit quietly waiting for food. They spot a duck with a fish. They swoop down and take the fish. Then another eagle tries to get the fish. They do it over and over.

Jessica Kendall The eagle swoop down at the fish. They have a lot of baby eagles. They make funny noises when they find a tree to stay in. They fly all over where there isn't any snow. They hunt mice. The eagles wings spread out about 6 to 7 feet long.
