Robin Migration Update
February 13, 1996

REMINDER Report Your Winter Robin Sightings Now!

Before their spring migration is underway, there's still time to help us study where the robins spend their winter. We're now collecting your data on wintering robin sightings and we'd like to know if you have robins in your hometown. But remember, the robins might pack their bags any day now for their journey north--so be sure to send us your winter robin reports as soon as possible! Just follow the instructions below to report your robin sightings.

Begin the "Spring Fever" Activity Now!

Now that the robins are about to make their way back north, are you and your classmates ready to predict their arrival this spring in your hometown?

The "Spring Fever" Activity can help you predict when robins will arrive in your backyard. By taking backyard temperatures you can also test a theory about their migration. See the Spring Fever activity in today's accompanying report and on page 103 of your Journey North manual.

How to Report Your Robin Sightings

1. Go outside and look for robins. Ask your neighbors if they have sighted robins. Call your friends and relatives in other parts of North America. Ask everybody you know to help you look for robins!

2. Send your field observations to Journey North now. Simply select the button below labeled,"Report Field Observations" and fill out the Field Data Form.

Thanks you for all your help!!

The Next Robin Migration Update Will be on February 20, 1996
