How to Ask the Expert

Internet Field Team members are invited to send questions each week according to the schedule at tthe bottom of this page. Your questions will be accepted for two weeks prior to the deadline shown.

How to Send Your Questions

1. Address an E-Mail Message to: jn-expert@learner.org

2. In the Subject Line of your message, use the format shown in these examples carefully:

(SPECIES) Questions: From (YOUR STATE/PROVINCE)

For Example:
Sea Turtle Questions: From New York
Bald Eagle Questions: From Alaska
Whale Questions: From Alabama
Monarch Questions: From Ontario

This format is important. It will help us process your questions quickly and accurately.
3. In the Body of your message:

Ask 3 good questions!!

Please remember that our experts are volunteers. We don't want to overwhelm them with more questions than they can answer in the time allotted.
Please do not ask for information that is readily found in a book, or that has already been provided through this program.
