Journey North Home Page

Minneapolis, Minnesota

Our third grade class at Blake Lower School in Hopkins has officially planted our "Journey North" garden. We planted 21 Red Emperor bulbs on Thursday, October 17, 1996. We had a very cool, wet day for our planting. Thank goodness the previous days of preparation were warm and pleasant.

We have made a WWW page with pictures of the planting process.

We are eager to track this data, it fits well into our study of phenology. I have attached below the phenology data that our class collected in September and October. My class collects this data throughout the year.
