I saw a Monarch butterfly while walking in the park in Houston, Texas on Wednesday February 22, 1995 approximately 12:40pm. The specific location it was flying, was along the bayou in Hedwig Village's city park. I was walking west and it was flying northeast.

Hope this helps your documentation.

I just returned from a brief trip to southern Florida. While there I visited the National Audubon Society's Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary on Friday, February 10, 1995, and saw three Monarch Butterflys. Weather conditions were: SW wind 8-12 MPH, partly cloudy sky, 78 degrees F. Corkscrew Swamp is located approximately 10 miles west of Immokalee, Florida, and about 20 miles northeast from Naples, Florida.
