Map The Monarchs!

Journey North's
Monarch Butterfly Migration Project

Get ready! They're on their way! It's time to start watching for monarch butterflies. You can be part of an international science project using telecommunications! As the monarchs migrate north from their wintering grounds in Mexico, people across North America are reporting the first butterfly they see. Together we are producing, for the first time ever, a "live" map of one of nature's most dramatic migrations.
