We are fifth grade students at the Howell Road School in Valley
Stream, N.Y. Our internet field team number is A1217. Brian Lovell,
Chris Kiefel, Kerri Kelty, Samantha Smith, would like to ask the
following questions.
1. How long does the peregrine falcon live?
2. Is it true that only the female peregrine falcons are called peregrine
falcons and the males are called tiercel?
3. How long does it take an average peregrine falcon to travel north?
4. How many miles per hour do they travel to catch their prey?
5. What colors are they? Male? Female?
6. Are there other similar species of the falcons?
7. Do they eat their babies if there is something wrong with them?
8. Can they move to a different climate?
9. Do they search for prey on mountains?
10. What is the normal speed of flying?
11. How high can they fly?
12. What kind of climate do they live in?
13. Do they have better eyesight and hearing than humans?
14. Do they fly in storms?
15. Where do they lay eggs?
16. Do they fly in a v formation?
17. What color are their eggs?
