Greetings from the grade 5 and 6 students at H. W.Knight P.S in Cannington
Ontario.
We are located at 44 degrees N, 78 degrees W.We have survived a bitter cold
winter together with lots of snow.
We have had 3 snow days this winter when students did not attend school
because the snow, ice and road conditions brought the school busses to a
standstill.
Just last week we had temperatures in the -23 degrees to -17 degrees
Celcius range. Today it feels as if we're living in the tropics with a temperature of +3 degrees.
We're hoping spring is on it's way.

We don't expect to see tulips or monarch butterflies for quite a while yet.
We don't expect to see tulips or Monarch butterflies for quite a while yet.
Our predictions are:

Grade 5: Monarch butterflies - May 30th
Tulips March 30th

Grade 6 Monarch butterflies May 15th
Tulips April 30th

Please, send us some sunshine! Bye for now H.W. Knight Public School.
