A
World View with a Clue

What
can you learn from an animated map of world temperatures to help you confirm
if you're on the right track?
Are you getting warmer? Colder?
-
First,
take a look at the color/temperature
key below the map so you're familiar with which colors
show which temperatures.
-
Watch
the animated map, and get comfortable with what temperature changes
are happening as the colors change.
-
Next,
read the local max/min temperature information that the Mystery
Classes give you below.
-
Then, study the map again. Locate the approximate
place where you think your Mystery Class is hiding based on what
you know so far.
-
Record
the max/min temperature patterns you see there. Do they generally
line up with the overall temperature patterns
the Mystery Class gave you for that location? (If so, you're getting
warmer!)
