Kuwait
City is the capital and largest city of Kuwait. It has an estimated
population of 32,500 within city limits and 2.38 million in the
metropolitan area.
Kuwait
City has a very modern skyline. The tallest structure in the city
is a communications tower called Liberation Tower. It is very symbolic
because construction of this telecommunications tower started before
a military invasion by Iraq in 1990, and then construction had to
be suspended. After the defeat of Iraq, the tower was renamed to
celebrate our liberation.
