The Most Heavily-bombed Country
Laos is the most heavily bombed country in the world, as a result of bombing during the Vietnam War. There are many unexploded ordnances (UXO) and mines that still injure or kill people in Laos. Our class recently raised $75 to buy an artificial leg for a UXO survivor, we couldn’t believe it was that inexpensive.
