Of course we have many species of animals in Uruguay, with National Parks too. This is our unofficial national bird, the Southern Lapwing or Tero.

Because the call the bird makes is so bold and pugnacious, the Uruguay national rugby team has made the Tero its namesake or mascot, and the team is now called Los Teros. Do you have teams named after animals too?
