Sticky Toffee Pudding
People here enjoy their pudding, which is a British word for 'dessert.'  One of the most popular desserts is sticky toffee pudding - a date cake with caramel sauce.

The Udny Arms Hotel in the coastal village of Newburgh, Aberdeenshire, about 30 minutes north of us, reportedly invented sticky toffee pudding.  Below is their recipe for you to try and a picture of their Sticky Pudding too.
