New York Twin Towers
We are only a short drive from New York City, so our city was not far away when 9/11 occurred. Some of Oceanside’s firefighters perished on 9/11. The photo on the left shows the Twin Towers before the tragic event of 9/11. Since then, New Yorkers have rebuilt at the 9/11 site. The new building is called the Freedom Tower.
