"We're in one of the states where this lizard is found. It has a really cool adaptation -- it doesn't lap up water like a dog, instead it collects moisture on its skin and then channels it along tiny grooves towards its mouth. Speaking of a mouth, our state's coastline sits either partially or completely inside the country's great big mouthful."
