Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/22/2001

Number: 1

There were lots of monarchs sighted in our area in the afternoon on Saturday. When a family was traveling from Hallsville to Mark Twain Lake, they saw about 10 monarchs every mile. One student brought in 3 monarchs that he had caught in his house when the door was left open for a long time. We are releasing those monarchs today so they can continue their migration.
